Wake-Tow IQ™ Range Extender System
Performance-validated across three DARPA Programs for both military and commercial shipping applications
Coordinates the position of two or more vessels to optimize wave-making resistance reduction. A combatant can wake-tow up to 11 USVs, enabling efficient transoceanic (>4,000 nm) transport at tactical speeds with agile, force-multiplier scalability.
Following vessels retain full navigational control, enabling dynamic coordination and scalable formations.
How It Works
Wake-Tow IQ™ coordinates the position of two or more vessels to optimize wave-making resistance reduction – dramatically reducing fuel usage and extending range. The system will optimally position up to 4 large vessels or 11 USVs behind a lead ship.
